Every few weeks a pallet lands in our warehouse that changes what a garage fridge can look like. Lately it has been several. A full shelf of non alcoholic beer arrived at once, a wall of small batch root beers and cream sodas in glass showed up, Retro Sprite in the American made glass bottle is back in stock, and a Tic Tac that tastes like Dr Pepper has been sitting by the packing station getting eaten by our own staff. Here is a walk through the New Items aisle, what each thing tastes like, and what a case costs delivered anywhere in LA. Prices were correct on the day of writing and can change.

Six non alcoholic beers, one new shelf
The most requested category of the year, and it arrived all at once. Every one is a 24 pack at $47.95.
- Heineken 0.0, 11.2 ounce glass. The one people ask for by name.
- Stella Artois 0.0, 11.2 ounce glass. The dinner table bottle.
- Corona Non Alcoholic, 12 ounce glass. Summer in a bottle, lime not included.
- Athletic Brewing Upside Dawn Golden, 12 ounce cans. The craft brewer that built the category.
- Lagunitas IPNA, 12 ounce cans. Hoppy, bitter, and an actual IPA experience with no alcohol.
- O’Doul’s Premium Golden, 12 ounce glass. The classic that was there before the category was cool.
Who it is for: the designated driver, the dry month, the Sunday afternoon, the office Friday fridge, and the growing number of people who simply drink less. No age restriction and no alcohol tax on the sale. Read the label if you need the exact residual alcohol figure.

A wall of craft root beers and cream sodas in glass
This is the shelf for people who think root beer peaked in 1985. Small batch brands, real glass, and the kind of flavor that makes a float worth the calories.
- Dr. Brown’s Root Beer, Black Cherry and Cel-Ray. The New York deli sodas, $42 a 24 pack. Cel-Ray is celery flavored, and yes, it is wonderful with a pastrami sandwich.
- Sprecher Root Beer, 16 ounce cans. Fire brewed in Wisconsin with honey, and the best value on the shelf at $24 a 24 pack. Also in Orange Dream, Black Cherry and Huckleberry.
- Olde Brooklyn Root Beer and Cream Soda, $40 a 24 pack in glass.
- Red Rock Root Beer and Surf City Root Beer, $42 and $44. Two very different takes, one sharp and one sweet.
- Cool Mountain Root Beer, plus Peach, Green Apple, Razzberry and Grape, all $40 a 24 pack in glass. The candy shop wall.
- Apothecary Cream Soda and Surf City Orange Creme, $40 and $44. Two cream sodas that make a float without ice cream.
Add a case of vanilla ice cream from your own freezer and a Sunday afternoon plans itself.

Retro glass and the nostalgia shelf
- Retro Sprite, 355 milliliter glass, 24 pack. American made, newly released, and it sells out every time we restock. $50.
- Moxie Original Elixir, $44. The official soda of Maine, bitter and strange and beloved. Order it once for the story.
- Hollywood’s Original Roy Rogers, $40. Cola and grenadine, the kid’s cocktail, already mixed.
- Fitz’s Rocket Pop, $35. Tastes exactly like the popsicle, and the bottle is red, white and blue.
- Avery’s Alien Snot and Elf Elixir, $42. Novelty names, real Connecticut soda, and the bottles kids fight over at a party.
- Teem Lime Soda, $42. A lime soda from the 1960s that a small bottler brought back.
Want more classics like these? Our retro soda guide covers Ramune, Nehi, Frostie, Faygo and Cactus Cooler too.

Smaller arrivals worth a spot in the cart

How new items get on the truck
There is no committee. Our drivers hear the same request at three doors in a week, the search bar on the site shows the same product name typed in with no result, and someone emails to ask when we will carry a bottle they had somewhere else. When the same thing shows up in all three places it goes on the buy list, and when it clears the warehouse door it goes into the New Items aisle. Non alcoholic beer is the perfect example. It was requested for months before six brands arrived in one week. If there is something you want us to carry, send it through the contact page. Most of this list started that way.
Frequently asked questions
Which non alcoholic beers do you carry?
Heineken 0.0, Stella Artois 0.0, Corona Non Alcoholic, Athletic Brewing Upside Dawn, Lagunitas IPNA and O’Doul’s Premium Golden, all in 24 packs.
What is the best new root beer?
For value, Sprecher in the 16 ounce can. For a float, Dr. Brown’s in glass. For a story, Moxie, which is not a root beer but belongs on the same shelf.
Is Retro Sprite different from regular Sprite?
Same drink, American made, in a returnable style glass bottle that was recently brought back. It tastes colder and cleaner out of the glass, and it is the most reordered new item on the site.
Do new items count toward free delivery?
Yes. Every case counts toward the local delivery minimum and toward free delivery in your zone. Freight orders past 50 miles count beverage cases only toward their 50 case minimum, and snacks ride free. Enter your ZIP in the footer checker to see your zone.
Are prices current?
Prices were correct on the day of writing and can change. The product page always shows the current case price with CRV included.
